YES on Measure 34-311 for Hillsboro Fire & Rescue
Passing Ballot Measure 34-311 will allow the Hillsboro Fire & Rescue Department to maintain the current number of firefighters and response times to emergencies. The Hillsboro Fire & Rescue Department relies on this funding for general operations, including:
- A rapid emergency response to residential and business calls for service
- Technical rescue capabilities for vehicle, machinery, and industrial rescue situations
- Fire prevention and safety programs serving at-risk populations
- An advanced life support Paramedic response to all medical emergencies
- Community disaster preparedness programs
- A capable response to fires near structures that intermix with agricultural and undeveloped land
Hillsboro community members and businesses can feel confident that when a medical or fire emergency occurs, our Hillsboro Fire and Rescue Personnel will arrive well trained, well equipped, and ready to assist.
